The 4th Heartland Institute Conference on climate change was attended by many eminent scientists, social scientists and policy advisers. Though most participants were not in agreement on the issue, there was overwhelming support for the idea that there is little evidence to support that global warming is human induced. The media largely ignored the conference. Some young students actively participated in the conference. Soon the young will wake up to the truth that global warming alarmism is a sham, writes Bob Carter in Quadrant Online.

US Congressman Tom McClintock and scientist Arthur Robinson – who assembled a list of more than 31,000 US scientists sceptical of global warming alarmism, in separate speeches ripped what they saw as Gore's hypocrisy in urging energy conservation while expanding his own carbon footprint and with inconsistencies in Gore's popular movie "An Inconvenient Truth." More than 50 presentations were made on the 2nd day of the 2009 International Climate Change Conference, reports Dan Miller in The Heartland Institute. |
